About Me
I began my plumbing career over 20 years ago, learning how to install cookers, ranges, boilers, bathrooms and central heating systems.
I became fully qualified to City and Guilds and BTEC level in 2003 and over the years have gained top level experience as a plumbing and heating engineer. Today, I specialise in the installation, repair and maintenance of state-of-the-art, highly efficient boilers and renewable energy heating systems including underfloor heating, ground and air source heat pumps, solar panels and fuel cell technology.
Keeping constantly up to date with the latest technologies I've worked on every type of job from replacement boilers, complete installation of new heating and water systems and project managing multiple properties. One such project saw the new build of six £1 million+ eco houses which were all built using renewable heating systems including solar hot water systems, ground source heat pumps, underfloor heating and biomass boilers. Carters were also the main plumbing and heating contractor on 45 luxury homes developed by Mildren Homes in Hambrook and Hedge End, near Chichester.
In recent years I’ve concentrated on the installation of heating systems for residential properties and can put my knowledge and expertise to any scenario. Below you can see my full credentials.
When I don't have a spanner in my hand I can be found enjoying music festivals, downhill mountain biking, diving, snow-boarding, travelling and enjoying precious time with my wife and daughters.
